    I’d live to see a summer tomato based gelato flavour, like tomato basil, tomato bacon, or spicy tomato Canadian Caesar!

    Loved all the combinations….the top 5 were

    lemon verbena and elderflower
    cherry & quark from Grass Roots Dairy
    Sweet Buttered Corn with Black Cracked Pepper.
    apricot, sour cherry, and roasted almond
    Blood Orange and Mint

    The winner was tough, accessing some of the flavours to make the ideas prevented us from even trying. So we decided to go with a tie

    – cherry & quark from Grass Roots Dairy
    – Sweet buttered corn with cracked black pepper.

    Loved the Blood orange and mint, but these oranges are only about 6 weeks a year fresh and could not get. The elderflower was amazing but could not find a fresh lemon verbena. The black walnut was a close top 5 but needed another dimension.

    So congratulations

    – cherry & quark from Grass Roots Dairy
    – Sweet buttered corn with cracked black pepper.
